The reconditioning process:
Our experienced technicians will strip and inspect all of the internals to find the fault with the gearbox.
The parts are then cleaned by hand in our chemical washes. Your box is then placed into an industrial Hot wash, this is a very important process to completely eliminate any contamination from bits of metal and other materials that may cause problems later on. Any damaged bearings, gears, synchro’s and other parts are replaced to OE specifications . Your gearbox is then assembled, sealed and sprayed to bring it back to full working order.
Your gearbox will be supplied without any oil, your local dealer will be happy to advise on the correct oil grade and quantity for your newly re- manufactured gearbox.
Fleet Solution.
We recognize that if you run a fleet of company vehicles this can be stressful and costly if you have a vehicle off the road. We have a specialists that are highly trained and experienced in the repair and re-manufacture of fleet vehicles.
Fleet vehicles can suffer extensive use causing and wear and tear, and eventually breakdown or loss of gears ect, resulting in loss for your company. We stock most of the popular fleet type commercial manual gearboxes and have a specialist fleet team that build these vehicles constantly for our fleet customers .
We can offer a fast turnaround keeping your loss to a minimum. Our Fleet solutions team like to build a good relationship with our customers and will do whatever we can to keep you on the road.
Collection, Shipping & Warranty.
All our gearbox prices are on an exchange basis We can arrange delivery of your remanufactured gearbox with our courier service TNT for an additional cost of £35.00 (prices may vary for Highlands and Ireland please call us for a quote).
We use a local company to remove and re-fit gearboxes if you need this service prices will be arranged on an individual basis.
We offer a 12 month warranty on all of our gearboxes.
